Historically accurate Diamond Castle

I love Disney Princesses and sure, I heard of their  historically accurate versions. I also know that " Historically accurate Barbie movies" exist too, but not yet The diamond castle, I think. As I have  a history diploma, let's say that Barbie movies sometimes hurt my eyes (plus the fact they're automatically colorful and bright, so it's more luxurious than it should be).

In The diamond castle, Liana (pink) and Alexa (blue/purple) are poor florists, so poor they can only afford bread and jam for eating. But...Still, they have a big house, many furnitures and fancy dresses, although they own only one. It's pretty inaccurate for poor people of the era. My guess it is the 1740's, due to the mashed potatoes plates in the hostel. Potatoes in Europe are known since XVI th century, and the first mention of a mashed potatoes recipe was in 1747.

So, how poor flowers girls dressed at the beginning of XVII century in Europe? First, not with that bright colors:   technology did not allowed it yet, so, burgundy and dark blue instead. Shirts were white and longer, skirts with less poof (no petticoat) and a bit shorter. They also look more worn out, if it is the only dress they own.

Heeled shoes were very expensive for florists too, instead, they would have worn wooden clogs.  Also, when you're gardening, fatally your shoes and  the low part of your dress end up covered in mud. Your hands will end up covered in cracks too, with shorts nails.

I also think that Liana and Alexa wouldn't have access to make-up. But their hairstyles wouldn't be quite different. I've began with their clothes, although the house also need to be more historically accurate.

This is so cool! I loved DC as a kid! This would be exsactly what they would look like! (Exsept the magical girl trapped in a mirror, of course 😉)
